The CR1 offers the perfect balance of performance and comfort, designed to absorb shock and vibration created by irregularities in the road. The seatstays, chainstays and fork all feature SDS (Shock Damping System), areas have been specially constructed with regard to tube shape, dimension, and fiber layup to provide vertical compliance without sacrificing torsional stiffness.
This concept results in a very smooth and stable ride, reducing rider fatigue and making any ride more enjoyable whilst the bike retains exceptional lateral stiffness which enables direct power transfer and ensures both confident cornering and descending. The geometry of the CR1 is performance oriented, but the top tube and head tube lengths offer a more comfortable position than pure racing frames.

Frame / Fork: CR1 carbon, HMF-Net fibre, IMP3 tech, SDS system

Components: Shimano Ultegra 6700 groupset, Scott pilot finishing kit with Ritchey Pro carbon seatpost, Scott Road Pro SL saddle

Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Elite

Tyres: Continental Ultra Race

Weight: 7.24kg / 15.95lbs

CR1 Features
SDS: Shock Damping System
SDS minimizes high frequency vibration from the road through careful manipulation of both the shape and carbon layup of both the rear triangle and fork, engineering a balance of vertical compliance and lateral stiffness right into the frame. This enables a damping effect without losing performance.

S-Bend Construction
Each tube profile is designed to absorb both abrupt and high frequency vertical input with no compromise in lateral stiffness. Scott have created an original tube shape that allows controlled deformation in the rear triangle called an S-bend

Carbon Fork Featuring SDS
The new 330 gram (0.72 lb) CR1 fork has an improved shape and full carbon dropouts for greater aerodynamic efficiency and weight savings. Featuring SDS technology, it provides maximum comfort without compromising steering control whilst remaining lightweight and very stable, providing the utmost performance whether climbing or descending.

Integrated Carbon Molding Process
Scott engineers have developed IMP, the newest technology applied to carbon production in which the toptube, headtube and downtube are produced in a single step using a top-secret process which allows for lighter construction by removing 11 percent of the material from the headtube intersection while increasing strength by utilizing high modulus HMF composite fiber. The result of this combination is a truly unique stiffness/weight ratio, complimented by the Naked External Tubeset (NET) finish which eliminates the cosmetic carbon layer to shave precious grams.

Design And Shape
The overall frame design combines fluidity with the mechanical concept; smooth continuous lines extend from the head tube and along the top tube with each portion of the frame and fork being designed in unison to create an aesthetic that is both functional and visually appealing.

The CR1 was completely redesigned in 2010, and is aimed specifically at the fast sportive/comfort-orientated racing market, which also makes it ideal for both century riding and competition use on the rough road surfaces of the UK!

Both contruction methods and geometry are different to the original CR1, with carbon tubing technology that is identical to that of the Addict and a slightly more upright riding position for long hours in the saddle. Combined with uniquely profiled seat stays, the new frame design is ultralight, fast and staggeringly smooth.

The Scott CR1 Team Triple offers the perfect balance of performance and comfort, designed to absorb shock and vibration created by irregularities in the road.
The geometry of the Scott CR1 Triple is performance oriented, but the top tube and head tube lengths offer a more comfortable position than pure racing frames.

We have some Whyte T120 - S's in stock one of the few remaining bike shops to still have this bike in stock. This could probably be one of the last chances to buy this bike!

The T120-S is a 120mm travel full suspension MTB designed in the UK equipped with Sram 10 speed for a fast, confidence inspiring ride. An alloy 6061 front triangle features a tapered head tube which offer great front end control and steering performance.

The swingarm is a carbon monocoque for light weight and stiffness. The intelligent wheel path from the unique 4-Bar linkage system is key to the performance of the T-120S. Initial rearward movement lets the wheel absorb the slap of square edged hits, maintaining momentum even at slow climbing speeds. It also keeps the bikes feeling sharp and connected under power.

Reduced chain-growth deeper into the wheel path prevents pedalling interruption and control compromising kickback from bigger hits throughout the stroke. Sram 10 speed shifters and mechs are used on th T-120S (X7 shifters and front mech, X9 rear mech) along with a Sram S1000 double chainset, with 26 and 39 tooth chainring sizes for a wide spread of gears on two chainrings. Avid Elixir 3 disc brakes offer the stopping power.

If you are looking for a fast, enjoyable full suspension bike for UK conditions, the Whyte T-120S offers a great ride with a 10 speed transmission.

Price: £2,099.00 Special Price: £1,999.00
